Eat My Carbon is a web-based planting management system, which can be used by landholders, community planting organisations, other helpers, and donors.
Our goal is to enhance environmental sustainability by establishing trees and forests, in particular:
The website platform enables Landholders and Helpers to connect and manage planting activities, so that the right trees are planted in the right place, and looked after as they grow.
Landholders can register and list any land they have available for planting, where it’s located, and what assistance they need (e.g. advice, funding, labour, plants).
Helpers can register and list their skills and what they can do, and be notified of planting and tending opportunities. They can create teams to work in groups, plan activities and notify everyone easily. Helpers can be individuals, community planting groups, plant nurseries, forestry consultants, pest control experts, fencers, or donors.
